Educational Qualification
The post-wise educational qualifications are as follows:

| Head Draftsman | Diploma in Civil Engineering or Certificate in Civil Draftsman or equivalent qualification from the Punjab State Board of Technical Education or a recognized institution. Higher qualification in the relevant field is also acceptable. |
| Law Officer | Professional Degree in Law from a recognized university/institution and at least 3 years of experience as an Advocate at the Bar. |
| Legal Assistant – Higher Education Department | Professional Degree in Law from a recognized university/institution with a minimum of 2 years of experience at the Bar. |
| Legal Assistant – Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board | Degree in Law from a recognized university/institution. |
| Accountant | B.Com. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university and qualification in the competitive test conducted by the competent authority. Candidates must also have either a 120-hour computer course with practical experience in office productivity/desktop publishing applications from a Government-recognized ISO 9001-certified institution or a computer IT qualification equivalent to a DOEACC ‘C’ Level certificate. |
