Important Dates – ICAI FAFD Assessment Test 2026
Candidates should remember the following schedule:
- Assessment Registration Begins: 04 August 2026 (10:00 AM)
- Last Date for Face Registration: 25 August 2026 (5:30 PM)
- Mock Test: 02 September 2026 (11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon)
- Assessment Test: 05 September 2026 (10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon)
Candidates will not be allowed to log in after 10:59 AM on the examination day.
Eligibility Criteria – ICAI FAFD Assessment Test 2026
Members must satisfy the following conditions before appearing for the Assessment Test:
- Active ICAI Membership Number.
- Completion of the prescribed eligibility criteria.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Module Tests and Project Work.
- At least 90% attendance in Professional Training.
- Desktop or Laptop with webcam and stable internet connection.
- Active login on the ICAI Digital Learning Hub.
- Successful completion of Face Registration.
- Members who completed their Professional Training by 31 July 2026 are eligible.
Face Registration is Mandatory
ICAI has made Face Registration compulsory for all eligible candidates before appearing in the Assessment Test.

- Registration must be completed using the Digital Learning Hub.
- Candidates must capture five facial images using their webcam.
- Approval may take 24 to 48 hours.
- Members who have already completed Face Registration for another ICAI online examination are generally not required to register again.
Registration Process
First-Time Candidates
- Login to the ICAI Digital Learning Hub using SSP credentials.
- Open My Dashboard.
- Select the FAFD Assessment product.
- Launch the Assessment.
- Complete Face Registration.
- Appear for the examination on the scheduled date.
Re-Appearing Candidates
Candidates appearing again must:
- Pay the re-attempt fee of ₹590 (₹500 + GST).
- Complete payment through the Digital Learning Hub.
- Finish Face Registration (if required).
- Access the Assessment Test on the examination date.
Mock Test Details
To help candidates become familiar with the online examination system, ICAI will conduct a Mock Test on 02 September 2026.
Although participation is optional, ICAI strongly recommends appearing for the mock test to understand the examination interface and face authentication process.
Important Examination Instructions
Candidates should carefully follow these guidelines:
- Use only a Desktop or Laptop.
- Mobile phones and tablets are not permitted.
- Maintain webcam visibility throughout the examination.
- Do not minimize the assessment window or switch browser tabs.

- The Submit button becomes available only after the first 60 minutes of the exam.
