5. Selection Process

There is no written examination and no skill test in this recruitment. The process is short and merit-based.

Stage 1: Merit on Marks

Provisional selection is based purely on the percentage of marks you scored in the required educational qualification. Only nominations received through the NATS/BOPT and NAPS/RDAT portals are considered.

Stage 2: Interview and Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates are called for interview and document verification through their registered email IDs only — so use an email address you check daily. Keep your degree, diploma or ITI certificate, marksheets, West Bengal domicile certificate, birth certificate and category certificate ready.

Stage 3: Medical Fitness and Joining

Final selection depends on the interview, verification of certificates and submission of a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining. This certificate must be obtained only from a Government Medical Officer or a Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking. A birth certificate is also required at joining.

• Complete your student registration and make sure your profile, including your APAAR ID, is updated and verified by your regional Board.
• Search for the establishment “Airports Authority of India, O/o Airport Director, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata-52” using establishment code EWBPNC000002 for Graduate and Diploma Apprentices, or E06161900020 for ITI Trade Apprentices.
• Click the “Apply” button shown on the next page.
• Confirm that you see the message “Successfully applied for the training position” — this is your proof of submission.
• Apply for one discipline only; candidates applying for more than one discipline will be rejected.
• Complete the whole process on or before 24 August 2026.
