TN PWD Recruitment 2023: Public Works Department (PWD) has released the notification for the appointment of apprentices for the academic year 2023–2024 in accordance with the Apprenticeship (Amendment)Act of 1973. It intends to hire qualified graduates and diploma recipients in engineering from Tamil Nadu who graduated in 2020, 2021, or 2022. Before submitting an online application, applicants must validate their eligibility, including their educational background and age restrictions. Registration commenced on February 16, 2023. The last day to submit an application is March 31, 2023. According to the 1973 Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act, selected candidates would be required to complete a year of apprenticeship training.

Applicants should upload the online form well in advance if they plan to apply for jobs in Tamil Nadu. At PWD Chennai, candidates who have been shortlisted will be contacted for certificate verification on April 19, April 20, and April 21, 2023. Applications submitted online in error or without the necessary supporting documentation will not be accepted. Those who have been shortlisted will be notified via email or the official website. Those who have already completed an apprenticeship under the terms of the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act of 1973 or who have one year or more of experience are not eligible.
