Employees' Provident Fund Organization(EPFO), India launches EPF Account Passbook or e-Passbook just like Bank Passbook to Check EPF Balance, Transaction Online website http://members.epfoservices.in/. Over 50 million subscribers of the retirement fund body EPFO can obtain e-passbook along with details of their updated accounts online from today. "The EPFO subscribers can get their statement of accounts online from today," Central Provident Fund Commissioner R C Mishra said while addressing a seminar on Employees' Provident Fund Act by the PHDCCI. In order to avail this facility, the active subscribers would have to register themselves on the EPFO portal by furnishing their account details. The facility to obtain e-passbook will be available only for active members of the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and would not be extended to those whose accounts are inoperative, settled or have negative balance EPFO Launches Member Portal for Employee, Where Employee can check own PF Status ONLINE. 
How to Register for EPF Account Passbook ONLINE:
* STEP-1. Visit EPFO Members Website: http://members.epfoservices.in/
* STEP-2. Register online to view your EPF Account Passbook on website by Click over REGISTER Button at bottom of website page or visit: http://members.epfoservices.in/employee_reg_form.php 

* STEP-3. Register at New page with using your MOBILE NO, DOB, PAN Card, NAME, EMAIL


* STEP-4. Now Click over GEN PIN Button to get PIN on your Mobile No.
* STEP-5. A PIN No will be sent to your Mobile to enter the next level, Enter PIN No. sent from EPFO on your registered Mobile to space provided and click over SUBMIT Button. 
* STEP-6: Now you will get SMS regarding successful registration and Message on Page "Registration successful. Your username and pasword has been sent to your mobile number. Please login to the EPFO portal with the same. Please relogin here to continue further."

STEP-7: Now Re-login through website http://members.epfoservices.in/index.php through Login space provided on top right of page
STEP-8: Select option from CHOOSE YOUR DOCUMENT which you have used during registration i.e. PAN CARD NO. and Mobile No. and Click over Sign In Button
STEP-9: Now Your are done with registration Process and get MEMBER PORTAL PAGE With WELCOM MR. XYZ. From This is page where you can check or Download Online Balance details or  E-Passbook.

STEP-10: To Check Balance or Previous Transaction Click over Download E-PASSBOOK => Download E-PASSBOOK

Select the state where your establishment is covered.
Select State => Karnataka
Select your EPFO Office = > Bangalore
Enter your Account Number = EPF ACCOUNT NO   
Name as on PF Slip: ABC.
Now click over get Details Button
You will get EPF Details if your E-Passbook is available to EPFO

STEP-11: In some cases when EPFO, Company, State Govt., Central Govt or PSU didn't provided details then you will get Message. " Your e-Passbook is not available" Don't worry there is solution all you have to do is click over "SEND REQUEST TO GET YOUR E-PASSBOOKS" Button provided.
You will get Message once click over button " Sending e-Passbook request for Member Account number : *****002*00*0000000**0  Please Confirm."
Click on OK Button.
Now you will get message "Your e-Passbook request has been accepted. You shall be intimated on SMS when you get SMS from EPFO that your e-Passbook is uploaded on portal, Please check..
You EPF Details are not available as as per EPFO The facility at present is only for the members for whom the employer has uploaded the Electronic Challan Cum Return for the wage month of May 2012 onwards.

My EFP Details was not uploaded on 25thJuly 2012, so i made online request to upload e-Passbook and finally get SMS on 4th August 2012(9days later) that your passbook is uploaded. So Now my EPF Passbook is uploaded with Monthly deposit Amount/Dates with EPF Details till July 2012.
