Pay scale: Rs.15600—Rs.39100 and Grade pay—Rs.5400
Qualification: Engineering degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Agriculture Engineering(4 yrs course) from recognised University
3. Accounts Officer: 2 Nos. (Unreserved)
Pay scale: Rs.9300—Rs.34800 and Grade pay—Rs.4600
Qualification: Degree and must have passed final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or SAS examination held by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India Department.
4. Junior Translator (Hindi): 1 Nos. (OBC)
Pay scale: Rs.9300—Rs.34800 and Grade pay—Rs.4200
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as subject. An Honours degree in Hindi is preferable.
5. Director of Tea Development: 1 Nos
Pay scale: Rs.37400—Rs.67000 and Grade pay—Rs.8700
Qualification: Science Degree in Science/ Agriculture and 10yrs experience in tea plantations at the managerial level.

UGC Scholarship now Rs. 8000 for Ph.D, Rs. 5000 for M.Phil

Full-time Ph.D and M.Phil Research students will now gets scholarship of Rs. 8000 for Phd and Rs. 5000 for M.Phil from University Grant Commission(UGC) to promote research activities from year 2012-13 in six universities in India. UGC will provide grant of Rs. 50 Crore which will benefits approx. 
The UGC fellowship was earlier restricted only for the NET-qualified Ph.D/M.Phil students from the central universities. However, the UGC has now decided to expand the scope of the fellowship initiative by involving NET-qualified Ph.D/M.Phil students from the varsities identified as UPEs. The grant has been revised from Rs 5,000 to Rs 8,000 per month for Ph.D scholars and Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 per month to M.Phil scholars. A Rs 10,000 per annum additional grant will be given as contingency expense for students with science subjects and Rs 8,000 per annum for students with humanities and social science subjets. However, the enhanced amount of monthly fellowship will be dispersed only after AU authorities receiving the formal notification from UGC in the same regard
