Staff Selection Commission (SSC) – Combined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk. Staff Selection Commission will hold a Combined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of Data Entry Operator(DEO) and Lower Division Clerk(LDC) for which 12th Standard Pass or equivalent is the minimum qualification. The Examination will comprise of a Written Objective Type Examination followed by Data Entry Skill Test / Typing Test.
Exam for the Posts : Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk
Qualification : 12th Standard Pass or equivalent
Age Limit (as on 1st August 2012) : 18 – 27 years
Age Relaxation : SC/ST – 5 years ; OBC – 03 years ; PH – 10 years )
Place of Work : In various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices Spread all over India.
Examination Date : 21st October 2012 and 28th October 2012
Scheme of Examination : The examination will consist of a written examination and skill test for the post of Data Entry Operator and Typing Test for the post of Lower Division Clerk on Computer.

1. General Intelligence (50 questions) – 50 Marks
2. English Language (Basic Knowledge) ( 50 questions ) – 50 Marks
3. Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) (50 questions) – 50 Marks
4. General Awareness (50 questions) – 50 Marks
